Return of the Silent Majority???

Don't look now Fellow Babies, but we just might be seeing some truly historic events unfolding before our eyes.  Super Tuesday looks to have been a big, BIG plum for The Donald, in more ways than one.  Better stil, it looks like this great country of ours is all but ready to finally shake off this damned liberal / PC / faux-socialist / "America sucks" malaise of the last eight years.

Why do I feel this to be true?  Numbers; sheer numbers, boys and girls.  Ever since Silly Season kicked off, there has been record turnout on the Republican side of the political spectrum.  And not just record turnout - energized, passionate turnout.  This simply hasn't happened since Dutch Reagan bitch-slapped Jimmy Carter in 1980, and did the same to Walter Mondale in 1984.  But even those twin landslide victories are nothing like the Trump phenomenon.

The Donald is scoring big in virtually EVERY demographic one could mention - blue collar, white collar, Wall Street; women, young voters, our Military; Hispanic, Black and other minorities;  patriots, Christians, legitimate migrants - the list goes on and on.  But there is one more voter-category that needs mentioning, 'cos it's a pretty crucial one.  I'm talking of course about the "Silent Majority."  These are the folks who, for one reason or another, simply haven't bothered to exercise their right to vote since JFK was elected.  

That's right, my good Friends.  This great country of ours hasn't put up a total eligible voter-turnout figure above 60% since 1960!!!  Reagan, Clinton, Bush-43, and yes, even Barry Hussein - none of them came within a shout of 60% {although Slick Willie Pantload came closest with 57% his second term}.  From what we've all seen so far, The Donald seems to have definitively tapped into that well of potential, and is planning to drill it for all its' worth.

If you don't believe me, just mosey over to Drudge, Breitbart, or even the lame-stream media sites.  An awful lot of "savvy" pundits are eating HUGE chunks of crow at this moment, in the ongoing wake of Trumps' ascent.  And if that isn't enough, on the other side of the aisle, The Hildebeast is doing marginally - and I do mean marginally - better than she did in '08.  Meaning that her own numbers are about the same now as they were eight years ago, the political wreckage - er, ah, political baggage she's generated in the interim notwithstanding.  

And no wonder - we've had eight long years of liberalism, aka "hope and change" - run amok.  The economy is tanked; our world "credit rating" has declined for the first time ever; our ineptly floundering foreign policy is the butt of continual overseas jokes {and a strong recruiting incentive for every sleazy piece of terrorist garbage from here to Timbuk-wherever-the-fuk}, and our domestic policy ain't much better.  We're in debt up to our arse.  I mean, how many of those so-called "progressives" out there realize that Obamacare is nothing more than HILLARYCARE in drag?  Where were they in 1993, for crying out loud?  And how the hell is the Hildebeast going to convince anyone about her "new" ideas or policies, when her whole enchilada is really the same old sh*t again, no matter how its' spun?

Well, I'm cautiously optimistic.  The Donald has tapped the well of the Silent Majority, and results - actual, undeniable, concrete results -  are beginning to show.  it's still going to be a L-O-N-G and likely bitter fight until November rolls around.  Anything could happen between now and then, but I for one am just going to relax and watch the fireworks - with just the faintest hint of a satisfied smile on my face, 'cos DJT's found his {political} Holy Grail, and is ready, willing, and able to use and exploit it to the fooking tee.  And more power to him!!!
